With over 30 years’ experience as an employee relations expert within several blue chip organisations as well as hands on management consultancy, Mike has the expertise and ability to provide a pragmatic approach to his work that provides results. A skilled advocate who has worked on numerous complex legal cases including TUPE and protected awards as well as discrimination cases, he can negotiate on behalf of management with Unions, ACAS and Counsel on the satisfactory resolution of the issue.
He has led multi-union negotiations for example, on pay as well as terms and conditions, relocation, redundancy and change management. He is able to form effective relationships with people at all levels. He has, in recent years, built a reputation as a leading adviser in the private health care sector and a contributor to a specialist TV station as well as monthly articles for the sectors leading publication. He has also contributed a chapter to a book aimed at the sector.
He provides a sensible common sense approach to what can be complex legal issues and helps his client’s achieve the objective that they were seeking with the minimum of fuss and disruption.
