Robert Ingram is a HR director of many years standing and is highly rated as an international HR and leadership specialist.

He has a very pragmatic approach to HR management, developed through his long experience in and general management of Capgemini, IBM and the NHS.His substantial involvement in outsourcing both as a purchaser (NHS) and supplier (IBM and Capgemini), has given him a particular commercial edge, delivering people transformation services as an integral part of the sales process and delivery of client services in addition to provision of the normal corporate HR services to an organisation.

Robert’s particular areas of expertise exist in leadership development, workforce transformation, workforce engagement and dispute resolution. He is experienced in planning and seeing through the people elements arising from acquisitions, TUPE transfers, restructuring, relocation and major changes in terms and conditions, including pension schemes and trades union negotiations.

He has substantial experience in devising and managing high quality communication programmes, and is especially skilled at formal mediation and informal conciliation in relation to individuals (especially at executive level), employee representatives and trades unions.
